Walk 1 Twa Kirks

 A gentle riverside walk between the Village Square and the ruins of the ancient Kirk o Skirdustan. Stories from 1500 years of local History, Myth and Legend. Picts, Vikings, Jacobites, devastating Floods, Witch Trials and Water Beasties all feature. Were the lives of the Scottish clansmen and women as romantic as some would have us believe?                                           

Walk 2 Glenallachie  

A picturesque waterside walk by the Lour burn and Linn Falls. Natural woodland and scenic views of Ben Rinnes are to be enjoyed on this route. Return to village via the mysterious Fairy Knowe where Hatton the fairmer spent a year and a day among the wee folk who lived there.

Walk 3 Aberlour Orphanage Trail

The Aberlour Orphanage was a part of life here from1875 until it closed in 1967 Over 6,000 children spent their early years in the Orphanage and its legacy is still with us. Hear how it developed through the years and about its place in the history of childrens services in Scotland.                                                    

The Orphanage Trail is endorsed by The Aberlour Childcare Trust, one of Scotland's main children's charities with services throughout Scotland.

Walks start at the Speyside Visitor Centre and the Old Station Tearoom in Aberlour and can be arranged at any time to suit your holiday plans or schedule. am / pm or evenings. Individuals or groups (10 max ) are welcomed
